Poster Cabaret is the online poster design shop of Sebastian Foster, an Austin based gallery and print shop.  The physical studio is located in downtown Austin, Texas.  Sebastian Foster is a small, owner-operated art business.

Poster Cabaret began selling underground gig posters on its first website in 2002.  Originally inspired by a love of music and modern gig poster art, the website has grown to become a leader among modern poster and print businesses.  Along the way, Poster Cabaret has been featured on countless art and design blogs.  The online gallery has most notably appeared on the Grain Edit design blog, the New York-based Apartment Therapy blog, and in Martha Stewart Living magazine (Aug. & Sept. 2010).

In recent years, Poster Cabaret's offering has expanded beyond gig posters.  Today, the website features hundreds of art prints.  Owned by an avid cyclist, Poster Cabaret organized bicycle print projects in 2009 and 2010.  Poster Cabaret organized a bicycle print exhibit in Austin in 2011, the photos are here.

The online gallery, international in scope, includes over 2500 different posters and prints from over 75 artists.  The web gallery is organized by artist, not band, concert venue, or color.  The site is intentionally void of extra content.  Poster Cabaret is simple by design; the focus remains on posters, prints and artists.

Poster Cabaret's parent company, Sebastian Foster, offers original work and prints on its website and Austin studio.
