Landland Minneapolis
Landland is a small graphic design & illustration studio in Minneapolis. The studio was started by Dan Black, Jessica Seamans and Matt Zaun in the spring of 2007. The group had been making things independently for a while before moving into their current studio space, which they designed and built in the breaker room of a warehouse. Jes had been living in San Francisco as more of a peripheral member, but after Matt passed away in November of 2007, she moved back to Minneapolis and became a full-time partner. Today, the Landland design studio doubles as a fully-functional screen printing shop, focused mostly on record sleeve design, posters and art prints. The two have quickly made a name for Landland and their art in the underground poster scene. We've been focused on the poster scene for nearly ten years now and Landland have made a few of the best posters we've seen lately.
