Michael Michael Motorcycle Philadelphia
Michael Motorcycle is an illustrator and screen printer of rock posters. He was first introduced to screen printing in a high school graphic arts class. But he would later develop his real printing skills after taking a college printing course. The course teaching assistant, John Miner, an accomplished rock poster printer, taught him the ins and outs of printing on paper. Michael spent most of his 20’s working as a nightclub/concert promoter which led to making screen printed rock posters for the LA based promotion company, Goldenvoice Presents. Michael has since set up a studio in his Pasadena home where he designs and prints his own work. His clients include: All Tomorrow’s Parties Presents, the Hollywood Bowl, and Goldenvoice Presents. He has exhibited his work throughout the US and Europe. His work has been published in many books and magazines including The Art of Modern Rock.
