Spike Press Raleigh, NC
Spike Press is the studio of illustrator, designer and author John Solimine. John began designing gig posters back in the 2000s. Based in Chicago, then New York, during the period, John made some of the best designed posters in the 2010s gig poster renaissance. Since 2002, John has proudly worked with Nike, The Washington Post, Conan O’Brien, and The National. His work has been featured in Communication Arts and Print Magazine. John is currently an Associate Creative Director with Epic Games in Raleigh, NC.His first children's book, Does Frankenstein Get Hungry? was published in the fall of 2018 by Penguin Random House. John's work has been featured in numerous design, poster, and art books and publications over the years.
